When you become a Friend of the Library, you are joining a community of library lovers and supporting free and enriching programs. You can become a Friend either by volunteering within a HPLD library or by making a monetary donation.

Junior Friend

$5 or 5 volunteer hours   

Donations: ages 18 and under

Volunteers: ages 12-18

$25-$249 or 25-249 volunteer hours

Friend of Innovation

Friend of Sustainability

$500 and Up or 500 or more volunteer hours

  • Library tour with HPLD’s Executive Director 

Memberships are valid for one year. Current membership cycle is from May 1, 2024 - April 30, 2025 Memberships do not auto-renew. All contributions to the High Plains Library District Friends & Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.
