Ways To Give
Your support helps us improve the quality of life of our neighbors. Your active generosity helps us build a community of library lovers. All across Northern Colorado, our libraries are responding to the needs of the communities we serve. Library usage across the nation is greater than ever before – bursting at the seams with entrepreneurs, educators, care givers, children and families.
The High Plains Library District Friends & Foundation provides a stable funding source for programs and services when tax dollars aren’t enough. The Foundation provides funding assistance with early literacy programming, capital projects including renovations and additions, as well as new library construction, Summer Reading programs, our Writer in Residence program and much more.
When you make a monetary donation of $25 or more ($5 for ages 18 and under) then you will become a Friend of High Plains Library District. Click here to see your membership benefits.

Donate to the Collection
Although The High Plains Library District accepts book donations, we are limited to what we can accept.
Please browse our Fact Sheet for more information on book donations. For larger donations, browse our list of other organizations that accept large book donations.
Gently used books donated to High Plains Library District Foundation are resold through our partners at Thriftbooks.com. Funds from these sales support High Plains Library District programs. Used book sales account for over 8% of the Foundation’s annual income and play a crucial role in helping support programs like: 1000 Books Before Kindergarten, the Writer in Residence program, our Teen Tour, and Summer Reading Adventure. Every time you give a gently used book, or purchase one from Thriftbooks.com, you are supporting literacy and making a difference in our community.
