LINC IS OPEN!

Thank you to our LINC Capital Campaign donors who made it possible.

On May 11th, 2023, we celebrated our LINC Capital Campaign donors at the LINC Donor Sneak Peek. Our supportive community enjoyed tours of the new the library space, the innovation spaces, and the art installation, Where Water Flows Uphill while listening to cellist Cole Azulay and dining on hors d'oeuvres.

We share our deepest thanks to our LINC donors on behalf of HPLD Friends & Foundation and the library lovers we serve. Over 66,000 library lovers are now able to explore, engage, and enrich themselves at LINC. We look forward to supporting the District in providing years of access to life accelerating library programs and services. We are profoundly grateful to all who traveled down the road to LINC with us. Thank you for making LINC possible.

You raised $393,809 in support of innovative spaces at LINC.

  • $250,000 was donated by the Weld Community Foundation for “Where Water Flows Uphill” by Wes Bruce.

  • $100,000 was granted by the Greeley Downtown Development Authority for façade work.

  • $20,000 was designated by the HPLD Friends & Foundation Board Designated fund. These funds are a portion of the 5% earnings on investments from generous donations across the years.

  • $11,732 was raised through our Annual Links for Literacy Golf Tournament.

  • $12,077 was donated by individual library lovers throughout our community.

Summer Reading Adventure is Here

The Summer Reading Adventure is the most popular and successful annual program the District holds for all ages. Our youth, representative of our diverse community, enthusiastically participate in the Summer Reading Adventure by discovering new library-related experiences throughout the summer. This ignites within them a passion for reading and learning, and a connection with the library.

The HPLD Friends & Foundation not only supports the program through Board Designated Funds, but also seeks sponsors to provide incentives for the program. We are so grateful to have a supportive community that uplifts literacy in our youth.
